Green Methanol
Other Names: Green Methanol, Green Methyl Alcohol
Molecular Formula: CH4O or CH3OH
Appearance: colorless liquid with a faintly sweet pungent odor like that of ethyl alcohol
Production Process: Green Methanol = Renewable Hydrogen (Green Hydrogen) + CO2 emission capture from biomass
Green Methanol = Renewable Hydrogen (Green Hydrogen) + Direct Air Capture CO2
mainly used as fuel.
Green Methanol is defined as methanol produced by a process that emits little or no greenhouse gases. It is made from sustainable biomass, usually called bioethanol. As well as from carbon dioxide and hydrogen produced from renewable electricity, generally called e-methanol.
